Charles E. Israel (1920-1999) was an American screenwriter, television writer, radio writer, and author who worked mainly in Canada during the second half of the twentieth century. Born in Evansville, Indiana and educated at Hebrew Union College and the University of Cincinnati, Israel started writing radio scripts during the late 1940s and wrote for several American and Canadian radio shows between the 1940s and 1960s, including "Tales of the Texas Rangers" (1950-1952) and "CBC Stage" (1955-196...
